So my job has a “1 in 4 policy”. Meaning you get 1 weekend off every month, which sounds good on paper except the execution is not so good. Our work week starts on Sunday, so that Sunday you get off counts as 1 day for the upcoming work week.
I work next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Off Friday. Then I work Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. That is 9 days of work with only 1 day off in between. I’m not even full-time. I am technically part-time. This job talks a lot of work-life balance but I’m not seeing it.
