So I’ve been busting my ass (at least been doing better than everyone else in my department) and my performance review was today. I wholeheartedly thought I’d at least be getting a raise equal to inflation (7+%)
Went into the meeting feeing great, felt awesome the whole meeting, talked about achievements (basics performance review shit) then at the end, after pay was never brought up, my manager casually says “yeah so I’m super excited for your 4% increase” … am I the asshole here?
