I applied to a warehouse job of a furniture store. The manager called me hours after I applied, and told me to stop by in 1 hour on the same day. I refused and he said Saturday 9:30am. I agreed and showed up on time. One of the employees parked outside told me that he won't be there for another hour. Upon hearing that, I did my errands and went home earlier than expected. The furniture store itself opens at 11am and there is no way that I'm waiting or going back for an interview. Total disrespect, and no one should tolerate it.

Workers of goodwill let’s talk
I'm an adc worker let's talk about the shitty treatment we've experienced with this company. I'm mostly pissed at the discovery of the goodwill eBay knock off.
USPS bullshit website
I tried to apply to USPS and my God there are some issues. For starters, it’s outdated and hard to use, but the biggest issue is it blatantly lied to me. I applied because it said “there are positions open in your zip code” so I applied, well when you apply you have to pay $89 through some stupid fee, but whatever you get it back after you interview, I wasn’t too stressed about it. Well now, the website tells me there are no jobs near me open, the nearest one open is an hour away, I’m out $89, and I can’t really try to find out what to do because the website is outdated and impossible to use. They wonder why nobody wants to work, at least make it easy to start the application process and don’t steal $90 from me!!
Quitting before I start
Currently working a job I love, but I don’t get very many hours and the debt is piling up. Got another job at Walmart, which is supposed to be full time with set hours of 7-4. I told them I still have a few days scheduled at my previous job and I wouldn’t be available those days. Fast forward to today, my first week’s schedule comes out , and they scheduled me those days and didn’t even give me the hours I was promised. I’m gonna be halfway to pointing out in my first week. I worked at Walmart before, and based on that experience, this is just the beginning of a snowball of bullshit. Should I just tell them I’m not interested anymore?
Please don’t waist our time
No Respect for Worker Health
I just have to vent this out. I work at a Michaels store as a cashier. I used to be a supervisor at the same store, but stepped down due to health issues and a busy schedule with starting my own business and doing freelance work. When I returned as a cashier, I noticed a weird smell toward the front of the store. Sort of like a mold smell. One of the other employees works with resin and said it smelled like resin, which there were bottles of it locked in a cage near the front. He remembered the previous manager left a leaking bottle of resin in the cage about a year earlier. I mentioned this to the new manager a few times, and eventually was able to convince someone to remove the leaking containers. The smell continued and I brought it up a few more times over months.…
