Issues with my previous job?

So I was working as a bartender at a job I had for over 5 years. It was a bowling alley and I took over the job at the bar for a year and stopped working at customer service at the front desk because I wanted to learn bartending and they had no bartenders. During my time over the past year, my wage was lowered twice without me being noticed or any written agreement that says I agree to my wages being lowered. Keep in mind, when I switched to bartending I was never informed of bartending rate of pay nor signed any agreement. Is what they did to me legal?

promises, promises, promises, but after more than a year I’m still the only one who’s making changes

This post is a bit milder than your average /r/antiwork post, but it still might be fun to read. When I left my consultancy job a year ago I switched to a smaller company where I was able to blow them away with, to my knowledge, fairly basic clean coding standards. They said that despite my complex project it was easy to understand, so the whole hiring process went very fast. Fast forward to today, I've advocated that we REALLY need to fix our code to be up to modern standards. It's a disaster waiting to happen because we have only a handful of people who know everything about the product in and out. To somewhat fix the problem I've been writing automated tests non-stop with the promise that I'd get help from the rest of the team. To this day I haven't received any help. I calculated my pace…

Wanted to give you some info on a healthcare system in an ex-socialist country

I had to write this because I'm baffled by American healthcare and generally work laws and wonder why people are still moving there. I live in Serbia, an ex socialist country. The healthcare law I will be discussing was invented during socialism in Yugoslavia. So, unemployed people and people under 18 have free full coverage, people that work will have (I think) 5% of their monthly wage taken automatically for full coverage. So during socialism a system was created that provided full and affordable healthcare to every citizen regardless if they were unemployed or were working minimum wage jobs. Also, insulin right now costs around 27$. Even with all that we are in the top 5 fastest growing economies in Europe.

I am wfh due to my poor mental health but my company is cutting a huge chunk of my salary

Is there anything I can do? My mental health is really bad lately. I am having panic attacks when I am surrounded by people. I have decided to isolate myself for a while. So I asked if I can work from home or not and they were hesitant at first but allowed me after cutting a chunk of my salary. It's equivalent to one month's rent. I can afford lots of stuff in that Is there anything I can do? Edit : I'm an Indian

Employers, are you watching this? (Rant)

tl;dr I’m an employer who despises these jerks y’all work for. I’m on your side. Thank you for this subreddit. I’m an employer and I appreciate the candor with which everyone posts about these terrible experiences. It helps me to be a better boss (I hope!!) Second, it’s interesting to me how much of the crap that’s exposed is from text messages. I can’t imagine having important work conversations in that impersonal way. These managers that want to talk about teamwork need to do that in person or Zoom at a minimum. Third — fellow employers — I hope like hell that you follow this subreddit because you could learn a lot about how NOT to run a business. Don’t treat your “team” like servants then expect them to have undying loyalty. Don’t use military jargon in non military places — it’s stolen valor. And yes, you have to adapt…
