That impending doom that another 5 days of bullshit is around the corner. Feels like I'm getting ready to walk off the plank. And if I'm lucky I get to do this for the next 20 years….

whether it was your current or former, please share all howd u feel about it? were u scared? im in a situation where its headin this way and soooo much is at stake here and either way theres a big negative impact …im scared i think. .worried too…i can be ruthless rightly but kinda scared might backfire on me really bad both legally and life wise ive been in a number of situations where ive nearly had to take prev employers to court but due to my extreme hard work that i shouldnt have had to do and again doing involuntarily, ive prevented this and also due to circumstances not allowin me to go to court but lost out ..worried… How did it go? Also im goin thru the motions with my case…early on ish but not sure what approach to take…i.e. give them a bit more time or go…
I was part of the weekend midnights crew of a fast food restaurant. I was new to this position. My workplace was extremely toxic, managers not communicating to staff, passive aggressive management with ridiculous expectations and little resources, and constantly being called in despite them knowing my schedule and asking me to work on days I have booked off. They do not make new staff do training videos or any training information until they know they will get audited, then they make us all do them at once even if we’ve been working there for months. This resulted in a staff in which 90% of the people have no clue what they’re doing. I’ve worked for this chain before and am consistently picking up the slack of everyone else including management. I’m not gonna name the company cuz I’m scared I’m gonna get found out and I really need this job, but for context, I work in Australia in a part-time position. My workplace has this thing called the ‘shift amendment form’ (something like that, I don’t remember the exact name) and every time we work more hours than we’re rostered on for, we have to sign it. To sign it, you basically have to put down what hours you were scheduled on for and what hours you actually worked and sign to say that you agree to only getting paid for those hours (the hours you did work, eg say you worked 5-11 but you started earlier, 4-11, you would be getting paid your normal rate for the extra hour you did).
