Quickest way to start a company
Hello everyone, I have been trying to start companies for the past few years, and the most frustrating thing was building landing pages for my new start-up or app. Wordpress and Wix are among the tools I've tried, but I could never make them look as professional as other websites, so I created my own web-to-doc converter, called Doc2www. With doc2www, you can put all your business info and pictures into a Word document, and the AI algorithm will create a decent-looking landing page. You can see a few examples of the Themes available with the Online Conversion Tool . There is a selection of themes to choose from, and each one can be altered by changing the colors and fonts. https://doc2www.com/build.php
I thought this was interesting to share here https://www.euronews.com/next/2022/03/30/the-four-day-week-which-countries-have-embraced-it-and-how-s-it-going-so-far?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1648799534
I've noticed on this sub alot of people are from the US and living in the UK I can't fully relate to some of the posts because fortunately the UK has (mostly) decent employment laws and workers rights. One things I've noticed though, and the reason I started writing this post. I've seen target employees can get upwards of $20P/H and SOME people seem to struggle living off of any less. $20 is roughly £16 which is a semi decent wage here. For perspective I work at amazon and my supervisors will earn £14.50 an hour contracted for 40 hours per week, minimum wage for someone my age is £8.21 (about $10.70). We pay around 20% tax and that goes to our health care and allegedly to other things and then gas, electric and water can be upwards of £250 PM + rent, shopping etc. Long question short…. Is US…
are you serious with the pay of this jd?
I’m an idiot
I am about to have a second job interview at a small local company. HR asked me to send them my last paycheck before coming in, which I did. I felt pressured. I didn't overthink it and only now, after some research, I realize how much of an idiot I am. They'll probably try to lowball me. I feel so gullible and stupid.
Something that bothers me
Okay. I just wanna have someone else's opinion on this because I always think about it and it just bugs me. So back in January I had to get tested for covid because my boyfriend tested postive and I texted my boss about this in the morning and let her know that I would get back to her with my results and she said okay. My shift started at 3. I got my test at 10am. She told me to just send her the results so she could determine whether I could come to work that day. I'm waiting for my results and my assistant manager called me at 4:05pm and told me I was laid off. Why didn't my boss tell me this earlier? Like thats sooo weird. Isn't it? Idk maybe it's nothing but it always bothered me. 🤣
