How do u even fight this? I was fired for lawful actions on personal time, she was fired for being full term and on bed rest after putting in maternity leave and fmla leave. It may take me a bit to respond i have a busy day tomorow.

So I currently work as an assistant manager at a famous dollar store and let me tell you that I have never been this extremely stressed out in my entire life!!! We are so short staffed that we are running the store with just two people for both night and morning shifts meaning the shifts only have two people running them.(Myself, and one other Cashier for the night shift.) It's so bad, that we really have no store manager that can train people properly, employees are quitting due to not getting hours, or because corporate wants the very tiny amount of people to do six times the work for poverty wages. I said I wanted no less than £45K if I were to move jobs, all hunky dory saying how amazing I am this is totally fine. ‘So, what’s your salary now?’ (Perfectly legal to ask in the UK) ‘£34K, I’ve already taken a slight pay cut to work here so I’m definitely looking for something higher’. ‘Oh, well if you were saying you’d not be open to moving companies for less than £38K – I’d tell you to be realistic. My niece is a tender-hearted lady with a kind soul and disposition. An innocent in the ways of life. She got her first job a few years ago working at a bakery. What is the best way to counter these types of people? They seem to think that all you gotta do is buckle down and work hard and everything will be fine! That minimum wage is just a starter job you take to get your foot in the door. Then you go to college and graduate then apply everywhere until you find a good paying job. Should be so easy right?
