Was checking out at my local grocery store. I was in a different lane, but this retired man was being checked out by this young lady. She offhandedly said “I can’t wait to retire” (most likely after him saying he was retired), when the lady who was checking out my groceries said to her, you are only 17! Based. This girl is only 17 and know working is for the birds. When I was her age I was essentially a bootlicking go-getter (fuck that). The lady who was checking me out starts saying things like you’re way too young for that, I’m 30 something and far from it also, blah blah blah. I’m sitting here like yeah bitch, I wanna retire now too (I’m only 33) I feel your pain.

This is a follow up to my first post since it got closed here’s the conversation so far Manager- “Enjoy your day off! We dont need you to come in tonight. Respond “confirmed” so we know you got this.” Me- “Hey Just Checking, I'm scheduled today Right” Manager- “Yes sir” Me- “Alright, see you at 2” He didn’t respond after that. So he just responded with “U are off today fyi” And “Change of plans. We dont need you afterall. Enjoy your day off.” What am I supposed to make of this?
