You’re not a loser for having no job.
You’re not a loser for having no money. You’re not a loser for having no food. You’re not a loser for having no home. Feeling like a loser for these things is a response to a failed society that claims, if you aren’t increasing in monetary value every second of every day, labels you as worthless. You’re not. We’re not. I’m not.
This brought it all into focus for me.
Funny dispute at work today
I was at work today (I’m a landlord, was checking on my tenants apartment) I used my spare key to get in, made a bowl of cereal and saw his new phone on the table, which pissed me off because he only tipped me 100$ this week, so when he got back he screamed and said “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN MY APARTMENT”. Well how about asking me less than a few hours before when people may sleep already? I just got an email next day (after spamming them) that i will get my resignation per letter. 1 week later i still dont have it. I cant work nor can i sign a…
I frequent Home Depot OFTEN….and by often I mean 2-3 times a week. A lot of my hobbies include tools and supplies you’d get from a hardware store, but where I’m located I couldn’t even name you a local one within 50 miles. You MIGHT find an Ace, but other than it’s all Home Depot’s. With that, I have learned the HD return policy is essentially non existent. Tools, equipment, power tools, ANYTHING….they will take it back within 90 days with a receipt OR picture of your receipt. First test of “hey just how hard can I milk this cow?” went as follows: I “purchased” a skillsaw, used it, and went right back in for my return. The associate even joked they saw me using it and had a feeling I’d be back inside when I was done. Use Home Depot as a rental service you don’t actually pay for.…
