I needed to change how time worked?
When I was a teen, I had my first restaurant job working for a clown. I was on my 30-minute lunch break when the manager sticks his head in the break room and asked how long until I am done with my break. I tell him 15 minutes left. He then says “Well, please hurry up, we need you back on the grill.” I laughed as he walked away.
So I started a job doing AV systems installations last Monday. Interview left me with a good impression of the owner. He talked about how sometimes staff will doovernights out of town, and there's a “possibility of overtime” when this happens too, I said this sounds good. I was in the office for the first few days and I was kind of confused about how he kept introducing me to people saying “he's willing to work out of town, so we should look at getting that setup immediately”. So as of last Friday, about an hour before I finished work one of the managers shows up on site and says “you're going out of town Monday morning (about 2.5 hours out of my home city) and driving back on Thursday”… I looked shocked, and tried to think in my head about college stuff, social stuff, life stuff that I planned…

Waffle House is a Crime Against Humanity
Apologies for a long post. Don't care about karma. Just want to get this out there. For those of you who aren't American, Waffle House is a Nationwide diner chain here in America, usually located off of American interstates, that is ALWAYS open. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All holidays. No exceptions, except when deadly weather conditions are present. I used to do a lot of driving across the country for my old job, so I'd naturally stop and eat at a lot of different Waffle Houses for late night sustenance. Over the years, I have seen how a lot of these Waffle Houses operate, I've talked with a lot of employees, and I've heard a lot of depressing stories from them. After listening and seeing all this, I can confidently say that Waffle House's business model exploits the most vulnerable people they can find in order…
Pacifism, rather than being a tool of the reactionary, is the most revolutionary act. The next revolution must reject violence entirely and strive for greater. Lay down capital, it worsens all lives. Rich, poor, black, white. All affected by the same central fear, a nuclear anxiety which threatens our lives and we refuse to see the truth, that violence isn't the solution. We need a security for the old to live peacefully yet studiously and the young, retaining information, can work to better society until automation makes all lives beautiful, as beautiful as the richest man can experience with little to no effort needed. a true peace to last, a farming civilization caring for the young species on our planet. Our job isn't done yet.
