So basically this young woman in college is working for a daycare. The boss is aweful and doesn't care about school or other jobs and constantly trash talks all of the employees. All employees start helping eachother apply for other jobs and and interviews and all employees get other offers for better employment. All employees decide to put in their notice effective immediately on the same day. Boss lady has to close down for the day and is loosing clients bc parents are pissed. I wanted to share here bc I thought it was glorious.

yearly ‘review’
Manager had my 'score' without reading what I'd written on the review document so I can assume it came from above – from people who've never met me, let alone know how I work day-to-day. Anyone else deal with this, or -and I know it's a long shot + know how they might get those numbers? (UK)
Firing me helped me in the end
I'll do my best to be brief here. I am a field engineer and do Electrical and mechanical work on power plants. I was working for a company I liked who compensated me well and had good benefits. So I looked around and got another job elsewhere for more money better benefits etc. Starting at the new place felt weird. The underlying feeling during interviewing was good but it all changed on day one. I was working along side an engineer who despite their “experience” really didn't know what they were doing at all. So me being me I called them out for it every single time. My…
I am applying to other jobs… learning the market and interview tips. I realized I have to change my mind frame and go to interviews without feeling discouraged as every Interview can teach us something. Learned a trick on Resume writing at my last Interview. I just need to find a good paying job that doesn't have micro managers and toxic environment which would make me quit on the spot!! Looking for tips from people who were in the same situation as me. Did you find a job that didn't exploit you, paid you good and gave you a fair amount of loyalty?
I see a lot of posts here about bad jobs after college. I’m 18 and want to major in English but I’m realizing it might be a bad idea since there are no jobs that I could get with an English degree. I’m not smart enough to do engineering, so I’m not sure what other options I have for a good job.
