Food and shelter are needs, not rights. The laws of nature are not on your side. Nothing is free. No one owes you a thing. Doesn't matter what system you support, they're all equally exploitable and corruptible by virtue of being a system. There are no alternatives. Even a homesteading anarcho-communist has to work every day. You think things would be different if you had the power, but you're wrong.

Praxis by cropdust?
I started farting as I walk past my boss as a silent protest of a ton of different issues. Is that praxis?
Michel Foucault, Power/Knowledge: If power were never anything but repressive, if it never did anything but to say no, do you really think would be brought to obey it? What makes power hold good, what makes it accepted is simply the fact thay it doesn't only weigh on us as a force that says no, but that it traverses and produces things, it induces pleasure, forms of knowledge, produces discourse. It needs to be considered as a productive network which runs through the whole social body, much more than as an a negative instance.
Interns are also concerned by work abuse
Hello Reddit, As it may not be surprising, interns also suffer countless work abuse and harassments and it is also harder for us to denounce these things because of the rarity of internships available that are professionally adequate for students. I was hired in a natural animal parc with deers and boars for 2 months and completed 4 weeks through hard work (we do a lot of physical work since it's a pretty big space to maintain) and often outside of our normal 'established' hours. It is common practice to think it is normal to exploit interns because they don't have credentials and are young and easily malleable but the environment in which I am is also toxic with constant homophobic and racist remarks by my mentor (who is also 26, my age). The managers, a husband and wife, are also constantly condescending, never say hi or bye, disregard the…
Had my work evaluation…
Aside from the typical bullshit, “meets expectations here, and here, and here..” the boss man went on for almost an hour about two things that im not really sure how to feel about, Im angry, kinda, but I also don't care and it's not going to change how I go about my day but I want other opinions. So Im a mechanic and work outside, there's a car port to work under but beyond that I have to work in literally all the elements, 100 degree heat, cold, rain, thunder storms etc, aside from literally pissing in the woods the nearest bathroom is at another location, as is the cold water (I carry a water bottle everywhere on site), my morning routine is show up an hour before anyone else, clock in, open shit up, heat up my breakfast (they have a microwave, I do not) maybe use the bathroom,…
I'm just not having it today, the last thing I want especially with all that's been going on is to go to my stupidly low wage job and stay there ALL DAY when I have much more important stuff to do. Fuck being a wage slave!
Camus about modern work
“The workman of today works every day in his life at the same tasks, and this fate is no less absurd. But it is tragic only at the rare moments when it becomes conscious.” Albert Camus The Myth of Sisyphus 1942
