Yesterday there was a line of customers out the door, and one of my co workers called in sick. I’ve told my boss how I viewed that promotion: I absolutely hate it. Dealing with customers is probably one of the worst lines of work ever. I think I finally understand DMV workers. I used to be all about wanting to help people, but now I’m like this corporate drone telling people that they have to wait a month and a half for an appointment, no matter their whining and moaning. I simply don’t care about people anymore. I’ve been screwed over when I’ve tried to help them. Have a friend that works an office job doing some sort of clerical work. He found out last week that the job is being outsourced to an Indian company. I used to think he had it so much better than my retail job but here we are. He'll probably end up in some dead end retail job like me. Why do other countries keep stealing our jobs? This should be illegal. Keep our jobs here!
