Working with someone who had covid
So i have a co worker, whose attendance is terrible, she finally got talked to and said that if she misses anymore days she will lose her job. It needed to be said. Today, she’s at work and says she has covid and she let management know but they told her to come in anyways. We work in dental. So very close contact with patients. We also all touch the same things, etc. i understand her attendance issue but why is management putting the entire staff at risk for getting covid because she’s worn out her “sick days” I’m so mad
The CEO of my company was fired by the board of directors because she failed to keep the company afloat. I also found someone posted the salary of the CEO on Glassdoor to be $600k. She fucked up so badly that the whole company folded. Hundreds of people including myself are struggling to find jobs. This morning, she updated her LinkedIn. She got a new job as a president of another big company. No accountability and continues to fail upward while the rest of us is unsure how to survive.
Co-founder Tricia can fucking do one…
Pay looks tempting but off the bat seems like far too much of a gamble. Imagine advertising your work place like this. Any takers?
I went on a little road trip with my dad the other day and got to talk about working and such. He told me that back in the late 70s he could go and make 75 bucks a day doing manual labor loading cotton onto cargo ships. That one day could sustain him for an entire month. His rent was 50 and he could get by for AN ENTIRE MONTH on the rest (25$) just working that ONE day. What the fuck
Recruiter: what are your salary expectations for this role? Me: I’d say about 50 to 60. Recruiter: yeah, I’d say 60 to 62 is about right for the role and within the budget. They heard “50 to” as “62” so they heard “62, 60” I don’t know if I’ll get an offer but if I did I would’ve happily accepted 50k as I’m unemployed. Won’t say no to 62K though.
