I’m so sick of seeing that dumb headline that nobody wants to work, and although pay is only a part of it, I think something succinct as a rallying cry that’s also mailable enough to be used in every business would help move the needle. Thoughts from the group?

Hi, first time posting here, long time lurker, just looking for some advice hopefully. I work as a receptionist/office admin for a small plumbing company, like 11 people in total small. I started here back in March and in general it's been grand. Pays over minimum wage and I can work slight flexi hours (the bar is in hell I know). I started on £10.50 and within a week or two was told I would be getting £11 an hour from now on. A month after I started, another person started in the same role as me. Why did my job hire me? Hi y'all, I've read all the rules and I hope this applies, not sure where else to post. I've recently been hired at a small company that sells HR services to bigger companies. I'm still finishing my studies so when I applied I specified that I had no previous experiences and that all I was looking for was a place to “learn on the field” and improve my soft skills. Still, I got hired with an apprentship contract (4 hours a day, 5 days a week) for small money, but money is not the issue. I was really happy!
