Here's my resume: * Starving and tired *About to be homeless *Zero credit to save me *Family bailed on me *Feel like a waste asking friends who are also struggling *Can't see the light at the end *100% willing to give my life for change Lmk when I can start. Thanks EDIT: I'm dead serious, why does no one want to talk about this? I can't be the only one. Are we all too afraid of the government watching these conversations? Cause I'd rather let them know what's good at this point.

What happens when we can no longer work? We'll still have a mountain of debt, no savings and no ability to work. Social security would most likely be bankrupt by then but even if not, it pays very little money that can't support even a basic lifestyle. What happens then? I heard someone say once “These are the rules of the game. If you have the power to change them, change them but if not you gotta play the game, even if you don't like the rules” Is that the answer? Instead of trying to change the world, do whatever disgusting things people do to succeed in this capitalist world (bootlick, work in awful industries that pay well, give up on personal life and work ridiculous hours to “get ahead”)?

When I joined this sub it was all about having “x” job and how to game the system. “This is what I do to not get fired, or even get a raise with a separate company.” Type shit. Then it turned to workplace horror stories with absolute dog shit legal advice in the comments. telling people to pay lawyers for cases they could never fucking win. “I was told one thing, but my contract says something different.” “Contact the labor board, they’ll have a field day with the wages you were specifically denied.” Now we’re on the crest of having an honest conversation with our selves. “What can we do to better our own lives?
