My new job sucks ass
So I’ve had this job for two months, it’s really demanding physically and the boss refuses to address any of the problems I’ve been having with a coworker. Instead of offering help of any kind I get told to just deal with it and quit bitching about it, and it’s got me on the verge of a mental breakdown. It’s just two of us in an entire building but somehow I end up with the bulk of the cleaning and she doesn’t have to do shit. She disappears for hours at a time and doesn’t do a damn thing but if my work starts to fall behind the boss gets on my case and instead of doing anything to help he actually increases my hours for the day. No matter how many times I tell him or anyone else that the workload is too much nothing ever fucking changes, I…
Need help with anything?
So I'm living in my car but have some money in savings. Society is tanking it seems and the homeless and working class are taking the brunt of it just for existing. Is there somewhere you want to see/go but need gas money? Something you want to purchase or do before society shits the bed? Hit me up in the comments or DM. I can transfer money two ways. Through zelle directly from my bank where they require your name/cell number or I have Venmo. Either, whatever. I don't know how to fuck this system up enough to help people who need it other than risk it and just fucking offer help here. I don't have people close to me in life to leave money to anyway.
How about raising the minimum wage when inflation increases instead of distracting the poor with bullshit.
Wanna know something really messed up?
I have a two year degree and a full time job in my field, but I can’t afford to rent in my city. The system is broken.
I'm curious if there are any sites that anyone knows of with data to show which companies should be boycotted due to unfair worker treatment while the company is making tons of profit and the CSuite is getting overpaid. Also, which companies seem to be better balanced. Since this may only be easy for publicly traded companies, maybe we could set up a voting system for employees to anonymously say what they are seeing. This data and this subreddit could start helping to make a dent in the huge problem.
