Just finishing 14 hours of work. I’m salary so only getting paid for 8. My new boss has slowly been ramping up expectations to the point I’m working 55+ hours a week to just keep up. On top of this any mistake is met with passive aggressive sarcasm or belittlement. No delays are accepted and I’m expected to put out perfect work each time. I came out of college with 10+ job offers to this place I loved. Upper management changed and it has become an absolute nightmare. I’m only a year out of college and can’t afford to be jobless. I am dying inside and I can’t accept another job fast enough. I was expected to make manager but with the upper management change new boss has hired all of his old work friends for my position. Not only that but they’re making double to triple what I am…

Managers keep changing schedule?
My manager keeps changing my schedule, when I finally confronted her about it today her exact words were “surprise”. What the absolute fuck?!
I brought a brilliant fucking idea forward to a couple senior people at my company. A month later today, I found the team leads and managers were being taught how to use the exact thing I PROPOSED and taught them without crediting me at all. Idk what I was thinking, maybe that I would see a raise for my awesome innovation. So bent right now. I forgot that jobs don’t care about you
I brought up to my manager a month or so ago that inflation/cost of living rising was really effecting all of us employees and even himself. Told him that with the inflation rates the last 2 years, We're all making less than we were 2 years ago, him included. We can't grocery shop without spending >$200 every week, energy costs going up, etc. So he told the board and they basically said that inflation rate isn't a good rate to give a raise because “In the 80's when there was the huge inflation, there were a few years of deflation. If we give a big raise, then there's deflation, we're still paying all the money.” So basically we're not gonna get it. Even if there were deflation (which there won't be), who cares? Oh no, you pay your employees enough to not just get by! The horror! A solution was…
Learning about organizing
This sub has kinda become a place to bitch about bosses and working conditions, which we all need a place for. I'm looking for more ways to get involved. Anyone got some good subs/podcasts to learn more about direct action or steps that can be taken? I live in a fairly rural community and am trying to find ways to organize and push back.
“No one wants to work anymore!!1!”
Brick-and-mortars don't want you to apply inside, you need to apply online. (Don't call them either!) Your application doesn't even get seen if you don't perfectly satisfy The Algorithm. Job sites are flooded with scam job postings and it seems like absolutely nothing is being done to curb this plague and keep job hunters safe. So the only avenue you can use to apply for jobs could also lead to identity theft, loss of funds, or–best case scenario–a lot of spam phone calls, texts, or emails. No one wants to work anymore? No, y'all don't want to hire anyone.
Don't trust anyone above you, even if they're your manager. These hoes ain't loyal.
