Through the debt ceiling negotiations, Biden has agreed to “codify” the end of Student Debt Repayments in order to help finance Trump's corporate giveaways. From the article “Even where there's agreement, the spin can be vertigo-inducing: The GOP boasts that the deal “restart[s] student loan repayments,” but the White House contextualizes that it simply “codifies an end to the pause — which the administration had planned to end on September 1″.” This matters. Biden has the authority to pause, modify, and, (as SCOTUS is deciding now) even forgive student loans. He's about to cede this authority to congress and white christian nationalists. Take a moment to email both your senators and your congressman, especially if you live in a swing state. Tell them this is bullshit. I did this and it took 5 minutes.

My boss says that he was sued and no longer has access to the account, and that the new owner of the company can cut me a check. I have already filed an unpaid wages form for the first paycheck, and I will do so again when the time period expires for the second (this coming up thursday). Is there any…

Terminated for Assumed Mental Ilness
Apologies for the long rant 20 plus year with the same company and have always gotten great reviews. In 2019, I took an 8 weeks mental health leave to change up my meds knowing I would be mentally and physically impaired from the withdrawal of my previous meds. My manager at the time asked me if I’d work from home and, feeling like I should, I did. Obviously, I was not in the best shape cognitively so I’m sure I made mistakes and didn’t do my best work. Upon review time, which was just before Covid, I received a very negative review for the last quarter in which I was supposed to be on leave stating that I was making mistakes and that my head wasn’t in the game. Well, yeah, I was supposed to be on medical leave for that reason. I was transitioning to a new role so…
