I made a post roughly two or three weeks back about my CEO verbally abusing me, my coworkers, and my manager. This wasn't the first time, but this is the first time I had decided to stand up against it and defend myself and others. I didn't use any cuss words, I didn't name call, I didn't yell, I just simply stood my ground indefended our respect and work ethic. Conveniently within two to three weeks time, they suddenly had an outburst of write-ups against me and had me terminated, despite four and a half months of constant praise from management and the CEO of how good I was doing. 2 week notice hypocrisy

I’m a college student home for summer, and I got this great job as a pharm tech. $20 an hour, which is much more than I’m used to, it’s not too stressful, just all around a great job for a summer vacation. About a week ago, my boss called me in to ask when I’d like my last day to be, since I’m returning to school in a few weeks. I said august 3rd, so she asked me to put in a written 2 week notice 2 weeks before that. I said sure, they’ve been good to me overall and if this helps them I have no problem giving them a notice. Declined to finish a phone meeting when finding out it was unpaid

So I work as mental health professional in the UK and my employer sends through clients to me. I am an employee, not a contractor. I don't have much to do with my employer except for invoicing and starting new clients. I got an email out of the blue asking for a phone meeting and when they called today I said 'before we start how will I be able to fill out the time sheet for this?' and she stuttered a bit and explained it's just a quick call and it's unpaid. I explained I've blocked off time that I could be seeing clients to take this call and if it's unpaid I can't continue with the conversation. I walked out mid-interview from one of the top retail stores in the world

After clearing 3 rounds to be a 'Store Assistant' I had the final round with the store manager. I was called in at 11 and I reached in time. The manager doesn't show up till 11:15 and I went to the till and asked them to call the manager. He comes and gives me a 1-page doc to read and says he will be back in 2mins.
