I was “terminated without cause” while eating my lunch. This happened two weeks ago and I still haven’t completely come to terms with it. The company I worked for was a local start-up with three other employees, including my boss, the “CEO”. We were just starting to gain recognition and pull in some serious money when my boss decides he doesn’t want to pay me the below-median pay I was already getting and would rather trap a freshly graduated student and pay them nothing. Just like he did to me. He didn’t actually say that money was the reason but I know it is. I had to beg him for a raise for a whole year and when I finally got one it was an extra $5000/annually. I love hearing the bullshit about “nobody wants to work anymore” I’ve applied for more than 25 jobs in 2 weeks (some are on other sites), and gotten absolutely nothing. I’ve tried calling back, emails, physically showing up to talk to HR, and not a damn thing to show for it. I can’t go through temp agencies because every single one in my city has no positions available, which makes sense, it’s the middle of summer and all the graduates that are looking for jobs, but goddamn this is fucking ridiculous

I know it can probably vary. I'm thinking of one Fortune 500, well over 100,000 employees. That's a ton of emails. Keyloggers maybe? Only delve further into someone specific when the need arises?
