My company has made it mandatory for us to work every other Saturday for the next two months because “we are behind on production” even though the warehouse is completely full and the product we make is starting to be placed around the company in any open spots that can be found. Well yesterday 5 different people from management came around at 5 different times to tell us how hard we’ve been working and how great the numbers are and how proud they are of us. After the second one I started asking “does that mean we are off Saturday?” And from the look on their face it was obvious I was suppose to thank them for coming down to my lonely level and telling me good job. I am waiting on my yearly bonus at the end of the month and walking straight out the second it hits my account.
