Were all done with how shit the owners treat not only us but especially the manager. For less than £1/h over minumum wage and a 0-hour contract with a rota that she makes and owner 1 undermimes, she receives angry customer complaints and owner 2 screaming at her to fix the angry customer complaints. Yay!
So now there is a pretty hefty list of people who are planning to leave, including the manager, our only two full-timers (outside of the manager) and three part-timers (including me). This will leave them with one person who can only work 11am-2pm monday-friday and one person who only works on sundays. And they'll have two weeks to hire an entire new team of staff and get them trained up otherwise both of the owners AND the area manager will have to travel to the shop which takes almost an hour one-way. This is gonna be spicy 🙂
Also im pretty sure they do a lot of very illegal stuff that we have evidence of so they could also potentially be getting a little investigation from the government and Subway HQ from an anonymous tip 😉 they messed with the wrong workers
