Should I be worried about not giving notice? Can I walk out?

So I work at a warehouse as a temp, been here for about 5 months. First day I was already asked to come in earlier than the start time on my contract. But I knew that they were struggling here with high turnover, many of the employees wouldn’t get vaccinated and were let go. But after a whole month of coming in early and staying late being deemed “mandatory”, they decided to make Saturdays also mandatory. I also witnessed a lot of naming and shaming of people who make small mistakes, and people just generally being toxic. This was when I called my Temp Agency to ask them if I was required to work these extra hours, they said no, so I made is clear I work 40 hours a week and no more.

One of the biggest issues I mentioned was that I have received next to no training, and so far every new person that has joined since I started is always trained by the next newest person. This wouldn’t be such an issue if the job didn’t require you to have a great deal of knowledge about the products that we ship out. You need to know so many small things in order to do the job correctly, yet there is minimal training. They need someone who is designated to train people. On top of that, there is FDA required training that I have been told time and time again to ignore, even thought I get emails from corporate stating that I need to complete them. But my supervisor tells me to continue to put it off even halfway through my yearlong contract. All this and they still constantly complain about how we need to work faster and “oh I don’t know WHAT could POSSIBLY be going wrong right now, you guys must not be working hard enough!”. All the new people are working 60 hour weeks minimum, and I’m able to get away with 40 but they aren’t happy about it.

Honestly I just don’t want to work here anymore, but I just don’t know if it’s even worth quitting. Especially if I have to give notice, which I would if I want to remain in good standing with my agency. I just don’t want to deal with it, do you guys think it would be reasonable for me to just stop showing up? Like does anything bad ever happen other than losing a reference when you leave a job without notice?
