I live in Toronto, literally, 99% of the entry-level job requires 1-2-year experience paying the bare minimum wage ($11.50 USD) while the cost of living is comparable to U.S cities with a $15 minimum wage. I am in university and needed a job to sustain me but couldn't land a job at all after 100s of applications. So I lied, added a bunch of bullshit experience and had 10 resemues with different types of job experience. Got my first job within a week, and ghosted them when the semester started lol.
Remember, if employers treat you like disposable trash, treat them the same. Fuck em.
