Working for bigots

I’ve been a nurse practitioner working in a behavioral health clinic. Two of us and our office got permission to decorate for pride month and to wear T-shirts supporting pride. The practice manager who happens to be an absolute homophobe, took down all of our decorations and band the wearing of the T-shirts about a week after she had approved them stating that it was the administration that was against it. Administration later stated that that was not true. However, administration has now come out with a new “dress code policy“. It states that the practitioner must wear scrubs and only company approved colors. Since working as a NP I have not once had to wear scrubs working in psychiatry. This new policy requires me to purchase an entirely new wardrobe strictly because I refuse to back down from the homophobic stance of this practice manager and apparently now the company itself. I sent an email back stating that I would not be purchasing an entire new wardrobe related to financial reasons and the fact that I had just bought an entire new wardrobe of business casual to accommodate my current work environment. I let them know point-blank that this is not an option as my job does not require me to work in a capacity that would warrant the wearing of scrubs. The dress code changed no one else’s attire in the entire office except for mine. If I have no recourse in this, I guess I will be leaving this position. Helpful suggestions and insight welcome.
