I quit my job without notice.

I worked at place that produced cannabis products for several months. The company was run by a husband and wife. The husband who i'll call Brad was very easy to work with, the wife (Tina) however was not. She only came in a couple times a week and would spend much of her time there literally screaming about minor things that she did not like (dirty dishes ect..) Part of the job involved packaging gummy bears. We'd typically start with a bucket of 6,000 gummies when filling orders, which were covered with plastic to keep them moist. At one point Tina told me that when the bucket gets to a lower level (a few hundred or so) that I should put them in a ziplock bag so they don't dry out. At one point Tina told me that when the bucket gets to a lower level (a few hundred or so) that I should put them in a ziplock bag so they don't dry out. One day I filled a large order and there was 11 gummy bears left in the bucket. We were going to make more shortly. they routinely give that amount of product away to employees or eat them themselves. so I put them back in the bucket and covered them with plastic, not thinking it would be a huge deal. Apparently I was wrong. I recieved a text from her on the weekend, my day off, with a picture of the gummies in the bucket, saying “this is a complete fail! blah blah.” I replied “ok.” The next workday was the day they make beverages, which only happens once every couple of months, takes all day and requires all the help they can get. Long story short I came in Monday morning, Brad gave me his credit card and I was about to go and get 50 gallons of bottled water so we could start the process, when I saw a note she had written about the 11 gummy bears, Saying “who ever did this should be fired!” I gave the card back to Brad, showed him the note, told him I was done and walked out the door. I then got a series of angry texts from her. One of which said she thinks I shouldn't be paid for the previous week because of how much I screwed up production for that day. Am I the asshole?
