People talk a lot about modern day slavery. I thought a little about it and came to the conclusion, that slaves received housing and food for their work. Nowadays, as an unskilled worker, you can't get much more than housing and food for the wage you get, hence: slavery. The only difference is that (at least where I live) there are no more whips involved.
