Looking for guidance in current situation

Hi all, just wondered if anyones able to help talk some sense to me I’m in the UK, worked for a service for over the last three years. Went to private agency work for this service (the equivalent of lo I’m/bank work) for better pay about a year ago. However around 6 weeks ago the government cut the contracts for this agency. I’m now in a limbo of a new agency wanting to recontract me but I am burned out of this job. I honestly don’t want to go back, after 3 and a half years I’m tired of it, and no longer wish to be there. The issue is I’ve spent two months applying to other places, with no luck. This job pays well at £510 a week, and with the current living costs crisis rising I feel trapped and that I’d be stupid not to go back working…

I’m in the UK, worked for a service for over the last three years.

This job pays well at £510 a week, and with the current living costs crisis rising I feel trapped and that I’d be stupid not to go back working their in the hopes another job comes up and just apply after work hours. I’m wanting to take time out to just apply more to other work but fee this might be a stupid choice.

Just wondered if anyone can help talk sense to me whether I should just grin and bear it or quit outright.
