This isn't a big deal whatsoever, but it still irks me because I hate lying so I'm gonna vent about it. We serve samples of CBD tea at my work to get people interested, and we use two scoops of white sugar to sweeten it. So like an honest person, I tell them we use sugar, which people appreciate as some can't have sugar due to dietary concerns, health issues, etc. Apparently my manager was told to tell customers that we use CBD honey in our tea, which is a bullshit lie. I personally don't want to do that, if someone can't have sugar I'm not going to lie to their face. It really pisses me off.
