My interviewer decided not to show up, took lunch break instead

This was pre covid but I felt like it was a good story to share. At this time I had 6 years of retail experience. Never once had this happened to me even closely until then. It was a retail shop (the whale polo kind). I showed up a few minutes early and met with the cashier who went to grab the manager. 15 minutes pass, no one comes and checks on me. I ask her if the manager is coming and she said yes. Then I started to feel bad for the cashier. I could tell she was embarrassed just sitting next to me awkwardly waiting. 15 more minutes pass and another young girl comes out and introduces herself. She told me she is a new key lead, and her manager decided she wanted to go on lunch so she will be doing the interview. This poor girl had never done an interview before and had no preparation, no question sheet, or my resume. She was really nice but very stressed about it. After our “interview”, she told me the manager walked in and walked directly past us back to the office.
The manager never came out to meet me and I never heard from them again.
Ironically, this job posting required several stupid short answer responses on their application basically asking why it’s my dream job or whatever and yet the manager couldn’t care less.
