Executive meeting today… we’ve had “challenges” hiring people for certain positions for months now (aka we’re not paying a market wage), and the HR lady said in our quarterly meeting today that we should consider delaying hiring so that “when we’re in a recession later this year, we can hire people at 15-20% less than what we would pay them now”.
They will always try to find a way to screw over workers. Guess who will need to work extra hard over the next few months to cover the staff shortage? That’s right, our existing staff that already is overworked.
