I work in sales as a sales associate. There is a morning meeting about 2-3 times a week held in other districts by the DM. In this district for some reason they had this one store manager running the call. Now this one manager has started to sign up for new tasks and has too much stuff going on (which she signed up for herself) so they asked if anyone volunteers, of course no one didnt then they claimed they will randomly select whoever is openining different stores to now start hosting and leading a morning meeting call. Told my manager I would not be participating but he tries to say its “mandatory” when I bring up how im not getting the extra bonus managers do so why should I do manager work they spin it into “its good to help you learn”. They way these older people sip the kool aid is off the charts
