Fuck You, Stacy.

Currently, my employer is facing a severe threat to their annual bonuses due to their shitty business practices. They underpaid staff before the pandemic and of course that was never rectified during the continued course of the pandemic, so droves left and they were all replaced with higher-cost agency employees. So, they’re trying to do that cute corporate thing where they make you feel like you can be a part of the solution to root out waste. They even put up a handy website where you can submit ideas on how to save the company money. I just want to call out Stacy. Stacy’s idea is that since some people work 12-hour shifts and others only work 8-hour shifts then the 3-day bereavement benefit should be clarified as 24 hours bereavement leave because it's uNfAiR and would save the company money.
