I joined this sub a handful of years back when there were less than 20k members. I was in need of a sounding board because my work experience after decades of employment was crushing me and I thought I was the crazy one. I have always been told what an exemplary employee I am, but only really ever got more work as a reward.
Posts on this sub helped me to gain perspective and understand why this was happening, despite my best efforts. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to contribute. There are now over 2 million members and it makes me giddy. This is not just a sounding board any more, this is a source of enlightenment, validation and solidarity for workers.
Keep sharing your truths. Keep opening eyes to the reality of capitalism and the insidious injustices it harbors. Keep recommending this sub and others like it. I have seen the switch flip for my conservative friends and family after a few months of honest discussions based off of talking points gleaned from this sub. Keep it growing!
