Been working at my job for almost a year and people who have worked there longer than me keep coming to me for help every day. My boss puts out production numbers and I’m doing 25% of the work on a team of 8 people. Make it make sense and why I’m not making more money.. I decided to tell my boss that I’m taking on a lot more and she said she “won’t know if I don’t tell her” well here I am telling her and nothing changes. The worst part is my boss is literally NO WHERE TO BE FOUND during the day. She ghosts us for hours every single day when we need something urgent. We have managers every week that are assigned to doing a task like assigning tickets, concessions, etc. No one does their job other than me and another girl… emails go unanswered for hours so her and I go and assign them to people because we can’t keep loan officers waiting even though we’re not technically the email manager. Like I’ve always hated that one employee who thinks they’re the boss but now I understand you kind of have to be when people aren’t pulling their weight. Like when a grown woman has to message me with all of her email responses to make sure they sound “professional” enough you know it’s bad that coworker started the day I did too and she’s useless. I feel like I’m just wasting my time. I don’t get paid enough for my experience and degree. I’m about done.
