I had a conversation with my boss about the performance of a separate division of our company. They are a vital part of our operation and are expected to perform to a flawless standard. He was stating that they have been complaining and sharing wage information (something I don’t mind but he thinks is unethical) and they are very unhappy. He asked if I knew of people looking for work. I said yes and asked about the compensation. He said they get paid $15/hr. I was stunned! $15 fucking dollars per hour?!
