Antiwork needs to start in the classroom

If we want to make society without oppression and unnecessary labour, then we should also think about the education system. (Heads up, I know education is different around the world, so I will try and use examples that are present in all education systems) To put it plainly, school is inherently a bad system. It discourages students from pursuing their interests, and leaves them with very little mental energy to learn other information outside of school. In fact, in order to 'do well' students are expected to do lots outside of school, from hours of homework, extra-curricular activities, and independent learning outside of the classroom. In an increasingly specialist world, it doesn't make sense to have students being taught things from a strict curriculum, rather, they should be given the tools and support they need to pursue their own ambitions and interests.
