Just took a CHEMICAL ENGINEERING job that offers 5 days off a year. Lol.
I had a verbal offer for a 80k salary (already mediocre at best) and I just realized they shorted me the past 3 weeks and have had me at a 60k salary (what they initially lowballed me with).
Assholes. When I asked about the discrepancy, the HR lady said she had to send my reimbursement request to the owner first for approval. Ridiculous.
Needless to say, as a result I am spending 7/8 hours of my workday applying to other jobs, learning python, and browsing Reddit.
