Started working at Publix for about 4 weeks now. And I get yelled at for the most mundane ridiculous things. I came in at 7:00am and clocked in the break room. I put my apron on, put my purse in the locker and someone mentioned to me about how it might flood today from rain.
I get out, go to my cashier station and after ringing someone up my supervisor calls me over. Says “when did you clock in.” I said “7:00am” “well I saw you come out of the break room at 7:03am. That’s stealing companies time.” And mentioned how I should have my apron on BEFORE I clock in and stuff.
One of my coworkers was like “they’ll yell at you for everything when you first start here.”
I mean jeeze I could see it I came out like 10 mins late or something. But 7:03? These people take themselves so seriously.
