Let’s write my resignation letter together!!

Imma start this by saying I was a very young naïve person who was easily pushed over and I always had this need of pleasing people… welp now I'm and asshole all because my retail store is filled with morons. So after 5 years of being toyed around at a young age (16) I have found 2 other jobs that actually respect me (wow so rare). Tis I am in a very bitter petty state at the moment since I woke up 10 minutes before my shift started, got there right on time and they said I don't work. They only have the schedule on a digital format on the phone and since my shift was removed god knows when (and I wasn't notified) I have no ground to fight it. So I decided to hand in my resignation letter and list all of the stupid shit they have done…

So after 5 years of being toyed around at a young age (16) I have found 2 other jobs that actually respect me (wow so rare). So I decided to hand in my resignation letter and list all of the stupid shit they have done throughout the years.

This is where I need you, I am not god at writing formal therefore I will list they points and hope you guys could help me formulate them into formal respectable but bitter sentences.

– Lack of hours. I have been here for 5 years and extremely good at my job while doing it right! Due to no hours I had to get 2 other jobs but they continue to schedule me on days I specifically cannot work because they are lazy.

– Used me for a year of top notch service and used me as a fourth coordinator since they told me I was going to become a coordinator gave they all the hours without being full time, I trained associates, made high level decisions, dealt with extremely difficult customers and I was not compensated for my time nor was I given the position.

– Due to the egos of the managers we no longer have Loss Prevention Officers all because the managers thought they were the boss of the LPO's in which the actual boss of the LPO's retracted them because they were being treated like dogs (they have to stay in the office, could not talk to any of the associates, couldn't walk the store, and tell them what to do). This resulted in the associates having to watch the potential stealers even though we are not PPCT trained.

– Unfair to employees. I fractured my elbow and was forced to take days off (a month) even though I was fully capable of doing my jobs in 2 positions (jewelry and fitting rooms). Numerous of associates have had fractured hips, broken wrists, broken ankles and all were allowed to work. **

** I'm pissed because I was forced to take a month off while everyone else got to work when I really needed the money.

– They hire absolute morons and they protect them. I'm not saying like oh mistake here or there I'm talking about people who I am astonished survived this long into their adulthood without somehow dying from their stupidity. One such associate continued to not follow any health and safety precautions, belittle associated and lost a lot of company money and stole time on the clock but yet she was protected by the managers.

– Having no chairs for greeter or fitting rooms even though other stores have them.** Yall know why we should have chairs it's pretty self explanatory

**I have photo proof they are allowed chairs I asked their permission and they said yes to the photo

– changing policies right left and center. Every week their is a new or deleted policy on how to do things around the store and associates are never notified and then shamed when doing something wrong even though the information was never passed on. This creates an stressful environment, uncertain and confusing information's not only to the associates but also to the costumers.

– They continue to let a pedophile** into the store to harass the female associates. Multiple of women (from ages 16-18) and been grossly hit on (very suggestive language) and borderline threats of sexual assault. They have all gone to the managers and even the security company has been notified, any threated to file restraints against him.

**He is the security guard for the property our store is on

– Not following proper COVID protocol. The 'cleaner' of the store is supposed to be disinfecting all highly used surfaces but instead the manager pull them and do floor associate work so nothing gets clean.

-The 10% discount is a complete joke that just shows how much the company doesn't give a crap about associates.

So there ya have it, I would preferably like to touch on all the points because I really want to tell them why I am leaving. Oh and they are only getting a one week notice because they have more than enough people to cover.
