Told my now ex employer that I was leaving and could work the rest of this week since it’s just the two of us on a job site. (found the bid contract couple weeks ago with the client. He was making another 30$ an hour off my labor while I couldn’t get a 1$ pay bump plus his 75$ hour)
Instead, he threw a poor me game and pulled the classic line; “if you don’t give me two weeks, we are not going to be on good terms.” So I told him I quit and left. Now he screwed himself over with the site project, all cause I won’t stay two weeks.
Just wanted to post this to remind others in the same position, you don’t owe any employer shit. Cause they will cut us in a second if they need more profits or if we don’t follow their exact exploitation motives.
