I was considered “voluntarily resigned” today because I haven’t shown up to work since I got COVID. I notified one manager to which I got no response, then notified another who told me that it was fine to come in after I was done isolating. They fired me on a day that I wasn’t even available to work (I told them I could only
work certain days beforehand) although they put me on the schedule for today. I also notified the manager of this and they said the schedule was just for training week. A different manager who I guess hasn’t been in the loop, sent me a message today saying since I didn’t show up, I’m basically fired.
