So I work at one of those touchless automated car washes, my job is to pull the car in and spray it down before sending it through the actual wash itself. Today a car came in, I was washing it, everything was going normal. I noticed their brakes were still on (which is also normal, a lot of people forget to release the pedal), and as soon as I walked in front of the car, it rushed forward and hit me. I fell to the ground, got up to get a grip on what happened and saw the driver and passenger both laughing at me. I sent them through without questioning them because I didn’t want to deal with possibly arguing.
Then the driver had the audacity to tell me I needed to give him another wash because I didn’t wash the car properly. After back and forth of me explaining that I wasn’t able to do that due to the rules and the type of wash he got, he demanded i give him my bosses personal phone number. After more back and forth, he asked for my name, i explained that he could call the business number if he wanted and he left angrily.
I know this isn’t as crazy as some other stories on here but the nerve some people have now is insane and has to be put in check.
