In my mid forties and holy shit, the effing interviews

Had a kid in my mid twenties, raised her on my own and freelanced for 20 years. In 2019 the startup I was working with was shitting the bed, my kid off to college and my need to be home after school was gone. I cold emailed myself into a job which now fits like a too small shirt. Made of fresh wool. Anyway, these interviews are just hellish. Selling and hustling is kind of the opposite of interviewing which seems to be to more convincing them that you will be a good servant and make friends with all the team. I am not good at the people thing, but I am exceptional at what I do. I like everyone better the less I know about them, especially coworkers. Any tips for faking culture fit so I can get in there and do such a good job that nobody cares…

Any tips for faking culture fit so I can get in there and do such a good job that nobody cares if I want to go have beers? (I definitely don't)
