Just as the title implies, my former boss edited my digital timecard and took over an hour off of my check (I made $12/hr and worked as a receptionist for a chiropractor clinic). When I brought this up to him, he claimed it was because his payroll person didn’t like “uneven numbers”. He then proceeded to say “do a few pennies here and there really matter that much to you??”. He rounded my existing hours that I clocked in/out down to the nearest 5 or 0 (sometimes he’d even take 10-15 minutes off) without my knowledge, and I have no record of what the times were before, as the app wouldn’t show it. Is there anything I can do to report this and have his business investigated?? (So far I have made a review on Indeed to warn other applicants) He has done this to his other employees too!
