Over the last nearly 40 years I've been annihilated, blemished, blighted, broken, busted, chastised, coerced, conquered, consumed, contracted, committed, crippled, crushed, damaged, debased, debilitated, deferred, defeated, deplored, devastated, devoured, disabused, disenchanted and disfigured.
Disillusioned, dismissed, distorted, downloaded, embittered, finished, fleeced, gutted, harmed, immured, impaired, incapacitated, indentured, indoctrinated, injured, marred, manipulated, mutilated, obliterated, obligated, obliged, overwhelmed, pained, pauperized, pigeonholed, penalized, pledged, pulverized and punctured.
Ravaged, saddled, shattered, separated, severed, sidelined, silenced, strapped, sundered, reduced, remanded, restrained, restricted, ruined, uploaded, warped, wounded, wrecked and I am a tall muscular white dude. Society, for the last half millennia, has dictated that a person like myself should be in a place of power/leadership.
Now if that truly was the case and all of this still happened to me even though I am some part of the “ruling class”(sans wealth).. What every marginalized group that people are relentlessly fighting to say that are below my station(which none are, we are all equal, I am less than equal in most cases)… These wonderful people who were born into this corrupt society, experience all of this by breakfast on their 9th birthday.
That is why the world must change. That is why the rhetoric must stop. That is why we all need to be better, because we are only as strong as our weakest link. If our leadership continues to be our weakest link, by subscribing to these ideas that skin, gender and coupling matters more than saving our planet or curing a disease/sickness or the advancement of broad technology not just space-games… WE must in-fact must share leadership roles with all people of our society, not just the prescribed ruling class.
WE need to work together and fight the oppressors of each and every one of US, because if even one of us are left behind in poverty we all fail. We owe it to ourselves, our ancestors, our children and our future’s children to fight for what is good, fight for all of our existence… not just the rich or powerful.
We need to finally be a “WE” by banding together and enacting change through solidarity. That person, that neighbor, that competitor is not your enemy.. The rich and powerful keep propagandizing divisive trials and events into our lives.. We must stop. We must have solidarity for everyone, except for those in power, those who continually distract us though competition and other facets of media. The one true war is between those who have never lived without power, excess and those who have never experienced equality. We must strike. We must have solidarity. We must share responsibility and power. For those who have endured so much. We must stop.. in unity.. to show our strength. to show our humanity. We. Must. Strike.
