Boss was handing out company ball caps to a couple people. I asked for one and was told I cannot have it because there’s not enough for everyone and it’s up to him who gets one or not.
I argued saying that stupid and there should be one for everyone. He replied saying he’s never seen me wear a hat. Not that it should matter, but I just don’t wear them at work because I’m in an office, but do wear them outside.
If you’re handing something out, everyone should get one or no one should get one.
This just feels like a power trip he gets to choose who the special few are.
