First time poster!
So I work at a steel mill as a heavy equipment operator.( Mindless factory work tbh)
I’ve been talking to my wife for about 2 years I’m just how burnt out I am at the place and want to pursue my passions that are cooking, and computer programming.
My only issue is that I make too much money to leave. I know chefs don’t really make much and it takes a lot of schooling to do computer programming. ( which I’m hoping to start back up in the spring)
I just don’t know what to do, because most days I’m legit dreading going there because I’m just wasting away, but I really have no other choice. I’m 28 and I feel like I’ve just wasted 7 years of my life that I’ll never get back to that place.
