While working at a Walmart store in San Diego CA as a full-time day stocker, another employee approached me letting me know that a manager wanted to talk to me. Already unprofessional, I know. So I then walked across the store over to the back room and there she was, sitting by the employee lockers about to clock out and didn’t say a word after noticing me walk in, therefore I asked her “hey, you need me for something?”
And she told me that my feet smelled bad and to make sure I clean them better before my next shift, even suggested me to buy another pair of shoes.
My feet didn’t smell bad at all. My shoes didn’t even smell unless you put your nose inside of them.
Not a single chance someone could’ve possible smelled my feet. I also have good hygiene so I knew I didn’t smell at all either, if anything I try smelling fresh before going into work.
The next day I go to into work knowing FOR SURE, there is no scent coming from me or my shoes, I go to clock in and she seen me and walked up to me asking why I was clocking in “smelling like that”,
Like how the hell could you’ve smelled me from way over there?
Anyway, she told me to go home and once I did I received a phone call from a different manager (“Matt”) telling me they had to fire me due to people not getting enough hours in and me getting to much over time,Dude, I was only working what I was scheduled.
